Photo Session with My Girls

A few evenings ago we took the girls down to downtown Everett and took their pictures in front of some old, worn out buildings and then to Snohomish for some pictures on the train tracks.  Here's a few of what I captured...

Butterflies!

Our computer is back so I'm playing catch-up with my summer photos.  This summer the girls raised butterflies.  We sent away for the caterpillars, watched them grow and form their chrysalises and a few weeks later we were releasing butterflies.  It's quite magical and the girls LOVED them!

Flowing Lake

The girls and I headed out to enjoy our summer weather here at home (FINALLY some summer weather)! We found a lake in Snohomish called Flowing Lake.  What a gem it turned out to be.  It's beautifully maintained, clean, has a playground and a large grassy knoll with picnic tables all about.  We loved it and can't wait to go again soon!

So excited to explore a new place!

Fun in the Sun!!!

We had a great weekend in the sun at Grammy's house and at Desert Canyon!  We spent time with Grammy and Papa and Aunty Beck and Anthony.  Here's just a few pictures...

Litter Walk

Avery calls herself an "Earth Girl!"  She loves to take care of our Earth and always picks up litter wherever we're at, wherever she sees it.  Its kinda gross at times, but I can't fault her... she genuinely cares.  I always make sure to have hand sanitizer on me at all times!  The other day she wanted to go on a Litter Walk around our neighborhood and collect litter to throw away.  It didn't go the way she intended, but we did get some litter picked up, and luckily Emerson was just as into it too!

 Avery's visor says "NO LITTERING" - she made it herself.

 Remember when I said the walk didn't go as she intended... well, Avery got tired of it and Em started doing all the litter pick up.  She loved it!!

 I have a picture hanging up in our house of Emerson making this exact same expression at 11 months old - makes my heart smile to see her do it again!

And of course... Miss Photogenic :)  They both are, actually!

Fun in the Sun!

School's out for the summer so the girls and I headed east for some sunny weather, and boy did we luck out!
